I Put My Hand in a Whale's Mouth

Occurred on March 12, 2022 / Guerrero Negro, Mexico

Info from Licensor: "Gray whales do one of the longest migrations of any animal. They migrate from Russia/Alaska each year to the warm waters of Baja Mexico where they have their babies and mate in their Nursery Lagoons. 12%-15% of the whales are considered to be friendly and will come up to the little Panga boats for pets.
Mama whales will lift their calf right up to you to show you their beautiful baby. This calf showed us it’s baleen and I was able to put my hand in the whales mouth to touch it. It felt just like very thin, smooth Piano keys. I also gave it some kisses on its head. Baleen helps the whales filter feed their food and is made of keratin just like our hair and fingernails. This Mom and calf stayed and played with us for 40 minutes."
