Info from Licensor: I am the recorder of the video. My dogs came across a deer on our farm that we see often in our pastures, but she had been hit by a car and this winter the creek is just 100 yards or so from the road, so I knew she had been hit. Deer are tough animals, so I knew it was possible she could survive. It was 19 degrees that day and she had made it to the water, and I believe she was just in shock. I got her back on her feet, but being scared of me, she went back into the freezing water and fell. It was so cold I couldn’t get in the water myself, so I used my rope to get her out of the freezing water. I moved her to the field and away from the cold creek. She laid down for a while as I stayed with her and she finally got enough strength to get up and go back into the woods. She seemed like she would make it and be ok. A few days later, I saw her back in the same area in the field on our farm.
