Passengers React to Extreme Flight Turbulence

Occurred on August 3, 2024 / Maryland, USA

Info from Licensor: "I was on a flight Saturday night the 3rd of August 2024, during a thunderstorm going from BWI to FLL on a Spirit Airlines flight. My father was a pilot and I’m learning to become a pilot (my brother is one as well) so I’ve been on around 500 flights. But this flight was the worst turbulence I’ve ever experienced. It woke me up from me sleeping and it got bad and people started screaming so I decided to video. I know that turbulence isn’t dangerous and they wouldn’t have even taken off if they were certain it was safe. Nonetheless, it did shake the plane a lot. For me, since I wasn’t scared, I was having fun with it treating it like a rollercoaster. So I start filming and some big turbulence hits the plane and everybody gets popped up in the air like Mii characters and I film it perfectly and I film my reaction. I start looking around and saw a few people crying and I heard from a passenger that one of them threw up. There was a guy in my row who was shaking because it was his first flight so I decided to stop recording to help comfort him. For me, it was a fun experience and I tried to tell other people that we aren’t in any actual danger."
