Info from Licensor: "I replied to a post of about the fawns in distress out on thin ice. I gathered my thin ice safety equipment: Grumman canoe, life vest, 350ft of rope/anchor device, ice chisel, ice cleats, and my dad supervising. My cell phone was placed in a waterproof hard case. I was able to put my harnessing ropes around each fawn. They were completely exhausted and terrified. Then I secured them to my boat tethers and pulled them to shore. The baby buck was on his hooves just fine but the baby doe had a difficult time getting her front legs to work. I was worried so I carried her up the bank then set her in the woods to calm her and let her regain her strength. We checked in the morning to see had she up and left."
