High Speed Chase, Crash and Arrest

Occurred on April 2, 2016 / Hood River, Oregon, USA

Info from Licensor: "I heard on Facebook that there was a high speed chase in progress on I-84 heading my way. I live right on the highway so I stepped out on my back porch to see if I could see it. I waited quite a while but then I heard a bunch of police sirens and screeching tires. I started filming just as the suspect in the truck drove past with blown out tires and crashed right in front of my house. The police surrounded the truck with guns drawn, yelling at the driver to put his hands up. The police opened the drivers side door and pulled the suspect out. He was a 15 year old boy who had stolen the truck from a gas station. He drove on flat tires for 50 miles. He didn't resist arrest and walked calmly to a police cruiser. Later, and ambulance came and took him to a nearby hospital to be evaluated."
