Stand off with Embankment Clown

Info from Licensor: I was going to my place of work, and took the entrance to the stairwell leading to the embankment under Waterloo Bridge. As I went down the steps and turned the corner on the stairwell, I saw a person with a mask or maybe a painted face with a duvet on the stairs. The person was at the bottom of the stairwell. I initially thought I was mistaken. But knew I was going to be late and had to inform my boss as he would not believe it. So decided to video for my proof. I just kept thinking I'm going to be late. I prayed and decided to go down the stairs toward him. He was blocking the exit I needed to go to work. I did try to challenge him as I thought it might be someone I know. But it seemed he was not someone known as he started running after me. Telling me I had to use another exit. It was at that moment I told myself no way, was I going to be intimidated by a man in a mask. What was the worst that could happen, I had a stabproof vest on. I took the leap of faith and tried again and face him. He surprisingly let me pass but realized it was due to another person a male using the stairwell too. I continued on my way and the man went in the opposite direction. I told my colleagues we went to the stairwell the duvet and clown man were gone.
