Bear Makes Itself At Home In Backyard

Info from Licensor: "At approximately 2:30 in the morning our blink video system was going crazy. I then heard a great big bang on our porch. When I went to see what it was I observed a large approximately 300-400 black bear on our enclosed porch. It had broken out the screen and window in our door to get in. Later at 8:30 the same evening, he returned and again broke thru the storm and shattering the glass that hubby had temporarily put back in after his first visit. Needless to say we were both nervous about him returning again. I think he had smelled birdseed we had stored in a metal locked container. I did call Fish and Game for advice. I was told to throw out all birdseed because as long as it was there, he may keep returning. We have disposed of all seed."
