Info from Licensor: "Galahs are native Australian birds. These funny galahs seem to be preening themselves in the rain, doing somersaults on a power wire that get the water on their wings and bodies. This is a cold winters day in the southern state of Victoria, Australia. A small town called Jan Juc on the Great Ocean Road, between Torquay and the famous Bells Beach where the World Surf Championship is held every year.

Identifying Characteristics:
Upperparts and undertail: light grey, underparts pink. Top of head: pink-white with a small crest. Wingtips and tail dark grey. Body up to 40 cm long.

Galahs often flock in large numbers in farmland areas where food is abundant. They eat seeds.
