Snowmobiles Observe Bison Running Through Snow

Info from Licensor: "For several years I had the desire to snowmobile into Yellowstone National Park. While traveling across the U.S. for the past month, I contacted an outfitter near Cody, Wyoming asking if they had space on the 1st of January 2018. After traveling to the park, we began our track back to the East entrance late afternoon. While traveling on Grand Loop, we came upon a herd of bison who were traveling in the opposite direction. Out guide immediately pulled over to the left and stopped in an attempt not to startle the herd. As the bison began to pass, with a suspicious look, they picked up their pass to expedite their passing. On our left was the Yellowstone River and on the right an incline with timber and deep snow. I was grateful there were no mature bulls within the herd because this time of year they are living in solitude scattered throughout Yellowstone. The entire time they were passing, I was thinking if one were to charge I would bail off the other side of the snowmobile or perhaps hit the accelerator. Having worked with cattle over the course of my life, I felt they only wanted to get by as quickly as possible. After this large group had passed, we continued on coming across two smaller groups. Fortunately, our tour group all remained calm and attempted to stay out of the way of these great American bison. It was a fantastic experience on New Year's Day in one of our nations greatest national parks."
