Nutria Cuts Open Dogs Face

Info from Licensor: "I run a 501 C3 horse ranch in Slidell Louisiana. I was cleaning stalls when I saw something out of the corner of my eye come walking in. I thought it was a rat. When my little dog Max saw the nutria he went after it. Keep in mind I at the time did not realize it was a nutria and not a rat. When I saw that it had turned around attacking Max we had to hurry and get Max away from it and we put it in a container. The nutria tore Max’s face up and he had to have his nose stitched back together, and underneath his eye he had to have stitches. Max is a Minpin, rat terrier, and Chihuahua mix. Later that day a friend wanted a picture of the nutria because I wasn’t 100% sure what it was. So I opened the container to take a video of it, and that’s when it leaped out at me, my two German Shepherds, and Max went after it on my deck. We were trying yo keep the dogs away from it. That’s why it was total chaos."
