Extreme Burn Out Ends in Flames

Occurred on August 4, 2018 / Muskegon, Michigan, USA

Info from Licensor: "This video was taken during Muskegon’s bi-annual hill climb weekend. Sunday is the main event, so on Saturday, the Muskegon Motorcycle Club has mini challenges and games for the fans. This was the last event of the night: "the burn out challenge." From what I’ve been told, bikers are encouraged to go head-to-head on a cement slab designed specifically for burn outs. The winner gets a brand new tire. Well, after a long wait, no one accepted the challenge until this guy brought in his Harley the last minute. He had no challengers so he was on his own. This was my first time EVER seeing this done. Despite everyone saying how dumb it is, I found it super exciting and wanted to share with my friends.

The thick white smoke filled the entire area. It seemed to go on forever, when all of a sudden flames shot out from the rear and instantly spread up to the rider. He had no clue until everyone started screaming. His inner thighs got melted from the heat. The grass was so scorched, it took about five people to help him pull the bike out of it.

I’m told the motorcycle club paid for a replacement tire, but that has not been confirmed or denied. There was one more biker who tried to do a burn out after that, but he chickened out stating he didn’t want to trash his tire.

One after one, fellow bikers and fans gave the rider a beer to salute his bad-ass-ness! I believe it was worth it. Coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

The next Muskegon Hill Climb will be in two years, and it's the one hundred year anniversary. I’ll never forget my first year here, but I can’t wait to see what the next event will hold."
