Huge School of Hammerhead Sharks

Occurred on March 28, 2019 / Galapagos Islands, Ecuador Info from Licensor: "A rare moment caught on film at Darwin's Arch in the Galapagos. Darwin is one of the most popular scuba dive sites in the World. On this day March 28th, 2019 the water visibility was an uncommon 100+ feet. High sun on a clear day mixed with great visibility exposed the giant school of hammerhead sharks that were patrolling the area. Normally the cold nutrient waters are cloudy and the visibility is only around 40-50 feet. The clear sunny day with clear water resulted in a stunning show of nature. Hammerhead sharks are becoming rare as they are being killed for their fins. Seeing a large school like this is becoming more and more rare. The local dive masters said this dive at Darwin was the best they have seen in their 10 years of diving Darwin."
