Occurred on April 8, 2019 / Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, USA
Info from Licensor: "During the spring, alligators are on the move here more often because they are looking for a mate. They cross the causeway road at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina as they are also looking for food between the saltwater inlet and freshwater pond. Sometimes they happen to cross at the crosswalk as they did yesterday in this video, as they don't have to do the limbo under the sidewalk rail. I was on a bike ride and I noticed the alligator was about to cross so I blocked traffic behind me so that he wouldn't accidentally get run over. Even though he is using the crosswalk, he doesn't look both ways before crossing."
