Info from Licensor: "This is a rattlesnake den in central Montana. They were just coming out of the den for the summer. It had been a colder spring here so they have been slow to emerge. The snakes are more defensive than aggressive, they would rather retreat than attack. Most landowners would kill out a den like this in Montana. We choose to coexist with them, even though the den is 1/4 mile from our home."
