Info from Licensor: "I took this video at the overlook for Midway Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. It shows Grand Prismatic Spring. We watched the man step off the boardwalk and continue across the thermal area until he reached the trail heading to the parking lot for the overlook and Fairy Falls. We raced down the trail to get a picture of his face and follow him to his car. He asked his friend if he got the shot, which was premeditated since his friend had to drop him off at the boardwalk, and the friend said yes. We then asked if he was the one that walked across the thermal area and he said yes. He also said the ground was really hard when we told him how dangerous that was and also that it was illegal. So we followed him to his car and got a picture of both of the men inside the car as well as the license plate. I immediately drove to Old Faithful to call the rangers and report it. They met me at the Inn and got my pictures and asked me to forward the video and pictures to them once I had better service that evening. I received an email from the ranger the following day that they found the man right away and he was cited."
