Info from Licensor: "While doing an entomology internship in Monteverde, Costa Rica this past summer, I came across this massive caterpillar, the larva of Pachylia syces. I went to pick it up but was shocked and a little alarmed to find that it had a strange defense mechanism. This giant caterpillar thrashed around and made a loud clicking noise, unlike anything I'd ever seen or heard before! The caterpillar's crazy looking colors and surprising behavior are unique and fascinating."
