Info: My uncle's dog killed the mother of the possums. Really worried about the newborns, I took them to care. They still couldn't open their eyes and had almost no hair. I gave them milk with a syringe two by two hours, and afterward 3. As they were so newborn, my main concern was their temperature. Thinking of that, I brought my dog, Pretinha, and put her near the possums and stood there giving affection to them all, In 30 minutes, Pretinha adopted them, licking and laying over them. After that, she took full care of them. As she is castrated, she doesn`t produce milk, and I kept feeding them. Now, they are much more alive, eat small fruits, and drink milk on their own.
