Info from Licensor: I was walking my dog on a private road and he ran ahead and didn’t come back right away, which is unlike him. We see deer all the time and he always just runs back to me. As I approached Vern, I noticed he was playing with a small fawn. They were chasing each other around in circles. After a minute or two I grabbed Vern and we started walking away. Then the fawn followed us and started to head-butt Vern and jump on him a bit. He continued to follow us so I let Vern off his leash to play. They chased and romped around, playing for a while. I could see/ hear the mother in the woods and as the fawn and Vern ran in one direction the mother followed. She was keeping a close eye. The two played together running and jumping. They even went into a little river to cool down! It was the cutest thing ever. Then the fawn ran away so I called my dog and we left.
