Occurred on July 3, 2019 / Ginostra, Italy Info from Licensor: "I was down at the harbor of Ginostra on the 3rd of July, when I heard that bang. By the time I was taking my phone and started filming the column of steam, ashes, and rocks had reached the height you see in the video, sure less than what I could see there. When I saw black rocks falling down from that column, I understood that it was not just a big normal eruption (the stromboli is a very active volcano, erupting almost every 30 minutes), but one that could take my life. At that moment, I started running because I wanted to reach my friend that was close to the incandescent cloud on the left of the video."
