A leatherback sea turtle been released at the Samuel Brown Town Beach, Grand Bassa, Liberia.
Info From Licensor: "The Sea Turtle Watch team has been engaged with community-based sea turtle conservation since the start of the 2012 nesting season. Trokon and his team members were supported by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the very beginning on this project. The team is currently working with eight (8) coastal communities along the Liberian Bassa coastline daily patrolling a 22.7km beach and collecting data on nesting turtle and turtle by catch. This is a video of a leatherback sea turtle (Dermochelys coriacea) being released by local monitors and fishermen at the Samuel Brown Town beach in Grand Bassa on February 5, 2016." Trokon Saykpa
