Info from Licensor: "After I became pregnant with Adaija, her father developed an addiction and was absent from her life. She was born profoundly deaf and he knew he couldn’t communicate with her, and chose to live life without her. He had since turned his life around, and for the past 7 months, they’ve been communicating via phone. He presented an opportunity to come to AZ to meet Adaija. We arranged to make it a surprise. So, on the day of this video, I woke her up and told her we were going to breakfast where he was waiting. When we were about to be seated, she recognized him and this was their first hug. They have been learning to communicate with my help in translating and also using talk to text option on his phone"
