Occurred on March 1, 2020 / Noonamah, Northern Territory, Australia Info from Licensor: "A video of the Northern Spadefoot Frog, Notaden melanoscaphus, calling after a rain event at Noonamah near Darwin. These frogs are endemic to Australia and spend long periods of time burrowed underground, emerging after rain to eat and breed. This video captures the mating call of these frogs, which is male frogs calling in an attempt to attract female frogs to mate with. The male frogs of this species make a melodic 'whoop' sound."
