Info from Licensor: I was at the park riding my bike early morning when this family called me out about the squirrel that was following their little daughter. I was intrigued and watched this squirrel for about 10 minutes. She came up to me when she saw me but I walked away further because she freaked me out. Then as I watched her there’s this old man with a cane who can barely walk, slowly passing by. I knew the squirrel was gonna climb up to him, and I was right. She started climbing up to the man. The squirrel immediately went under his Jacket and freaked the guy out a bit. I offered to help him get the squirrel off of him. Then after that, I left the squirrel in the park. The next day I came back to the same spot where I ride my bike in the morning and I was so happy to find her by the tree stalking people again. I called her and she came up to me, and she never let go. This time I didn’t choose to leave her because I can tell that she needed comfort. She’s a baby squirrel who likes humans. The fire department helped me out to find a person who has experience with squirrels. The lady kept me updated and sent me a picture of her feeding the squirrel with squirrel milk. I’m sure she’s happy and not scared anymore. No more wandering around to find comfort.
