Info from Licensor: "I was bicycling in downtown Sarasota on Christmas of 2019, and we saw a pelican downtown, which was a little weird because there’s no water immediately near it (we are on the Gulf of Mexico so we do have water nearby). When I biked passed it, I saw that it didn’t fly away, and so we got closer to it and realized there was a hook in its side. So, we were able to hold it while we flagged down law-enforcement and they helped us with pliers to push the hook out. Then, we helped them load the pelican up and they brought it to the water so it could be released."
