Info from Licensor: "We went on a bear encounter tour in Wrangell Alaska 2 days after my 30th birthday. Bears are not promised in the tour but we were extremely lucky. The ranger that was leading the way stopped and told us that we need to slowly move ahead of him on to the path in front and not disturb the bear. However someone half way down our group stopped which then caused the group to split both with 1 ranger on each side. the brown bear had nowhere to go as we were on the only path so the rangers were calling it to move away, and despite being worried with rifles at the ready what happened next non of us expected. All he wanted was a great big scratch right on the tree in front, but until he moved we were going nowhere with the group split into 2."
