Info from Licensor: "As a Covid friendly birthday activity, we decided to host an 'Egg-off' on our roof. We purchased an Emu egg, an Ostrich egg and Quail Eggs for the event, and wanted to taste them against the eggs our own Brooklyn roof chickens had laid. We decided that frying them would be the easiest way to compare them. We took videos of opening the eggs and of the Ostrich egg going into the pan. I posted the Ostrich egg video on TikTok the day before Easter, when everyone had eggs on the brain. It has been my dream to try an Ostrich egg and it was so thrilling for me to experience it. It's really gratifying to know that others feel the same way. My goal in life is to inspire awe and wonder and to spark curiosity, so this feels really fun and good."
