Humpback Whales in Nimmo Bay
Posted by:
William Drumm
Occurred on September 26, 2015 / Broughton Archipelago, Nimmo Bay, British Columbia, Canada Info from Licensor: "We saw a humpback whale breach two times, then slap the water with her tail several times. A short time after she did that, a smaller humpback (her calf) swam over to her. The two whales met up near a kelp forest, and swam off together. The whales will hug kelp forests in an effort to stay away from killer whales."
