Info from Licensor: "I have lived here since the late 1980s and have photographed the river every year at breakup and never seen anything like this. The moving ice just ground away the shoreline and the edge of the road where I stood. It then flooded the town and everyone was evacuated. On the map, the river is called the Mackenzie, but its real name is the Dehcho called that by the Dene.
