Info from Licensor: While staying at the Panama Jack Resort in Cancun, Mexico, my 3-month-old baby woke up to eat around 5 am and wouldn’t go back to sleep, so he and I went outside to watch the sunrise. As we were sitting on the beach, some employees of the resort seemed to be digging a hole and motioned for me to come look. A sea turtle had gotten disoriented after she finished laying her eggs and came too close to the resort where the sand wasn’t packed as well. She dug herself into a hole and was unable to get out. At this point I had my husband wake up our oldest son to witness this once-in-a-lifetime event. The gentlemen used a shovel to make the hole more shallow then used a cloth to help pull her out of the hole. Exhausted, she made her way back to water as we all looked on in awe.
