Close Call with Baby Rattlesnake Found in Christmas Decorations

Info from Licensor: I was in a routine snake removal call at a home in San Diego CA. The caller stated she saw a snake in a box of Christmas ornaments that had been stored in her garage. As I went through several boxes I discovered a small rattlesnake. As I worked to remove it, the snake struck and missed my hand by inches.
