Occurred on January 22, 2018 / West Palm Beach, Florida, USA
Info from Licensor: "I was driving when I observed a car smoking and swerving. The car struck a communication pole, and the engine caught fire. I stopped my car, got out, and yelled to bystanders to call 911. I ran to the car and opened the driver's door asking if he was okay and if I could help. He was extremely intoxicated and unresponsive. I ripped him from the car and dragged him about 30 yards to safety. I wasn't sure if anyone called 911 or not, so while I was observing him and keeping him on his side I was talking with a 911 operator. Since the fire station was less than a 1/2 mile away, fire rescue and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene fairly quickly. Once they arrived I backed off."
