Occurred on January 27, 2022 / Wetumpka, Alabama, USA
Info from Licensor: "My husband has come home for the past 3 years to the same situation, take care of the dogs, get a shower and smoke. He had just emptied the ashtray days before and always flicks cigarette butts until all the tobacco comes out and then he puts it in the ashtray. But this day it caught on fire and when he got out the shower he saw the flickering from inside the house and ran out the back to get the hoses that were all attached going down the hill in the back. He was able to get the main fire out before the Wetumpka fire department showed up and got the fire that was in the roof out before the whole house caught on fire. Thankfully, it was not any worse and no one was hurt."
