Info from Licensor: Pringlez was brought into my place of employment as part of a suspected animal cruelty case. As soon as she wobbled through the doors, I immediately fell in love with her. She was severely emaciated and showed pretty significant neurological deficits. After an MRI and working with a team of neurologists, they determined that Pringlez had likely suffered a traumatic brain injury prior to her arriving at the shelter. Thankfully, Pringlez has only gotten stronger as time passes and she is not in any pain. I decided to foster her as a trial to see how she did in my studio apartment, but once she was in, I knew I couldn't let her leave. Having a special needs dog can seem overwhelming at first, but patience is key and it's very rewarding. I live in a 4th floor walk-up and Pringlez can't go up or down stairs, so I carry her. She also can't jump onto the bed on her own (which is her absolute favorite place to be) so I pick up her up and down. She's a wobbly girl that loses her balance easily, but she still loves to play with her toys and attempt to chase birds outside. I can't even put into words what kind of joy Pringlez has brought into my world. I truly can't imagine my life without her and I'm so happy that her videos are making other people around the world feel that same joy as well.
