Occurred on April 5, 2022 / Rutland, Vermont, USA
Info: I went to Subway in Rutland Vermont. The female and male customers in the video were already there when I entered. I ordered four subs to go. They were toasted and waiting for veggies. The female worker was waiting on me. The female customer walked up and showed the male worker a sub and asked for it to be remade. He didn't answer at first, so the customer says again, "I need this remade." He asked why. She said, "it's falling apart, I can't even pick it up." The male worker said, "it's a melt, that's how they come." They went back and forth a couple of times. The worker helping me interrupts, rudely and says "you must have picked it up wrong." The customer states again, that she needed it remade. The worker said, "no, and they're causing a scene." At this point, they weren't loud. The customer then gets elevated and says, "I'm not causing a scene, but I can." The customer says, "I'd be causing a scene if I threw my sub at you." The female worker yells "I don't care, I don't care, you're probably fucking crackheads." They then throw subs at each other. Other restaurant items were thrown. The worker was screaming telling them to get the fuck out and the customers demanded a refund. The police were called and came. The police stated, at least that I heard, "Nothing was criminal and they also couldn't force a refund, corporate would need to be called." We all left.
