Info from Licensor: My aunt had a splinter in her foot on Easter (over 4 weeks ago) that my husband actually got out when we were all together celebrating as a family, but unbeknownst to us, there was still some of it in her foot. She showed up at my house to visit me one day and said her foot was still hurting her, so I asked to see it and after seeing a dark (almost black) spot still there, I said, “Kristi, that looks bad. Let me see if I can get that out.” So I cleaned the wound, pulled back the skin covering it so I could easily grab it and pulled it out - I was shocked at how big it was! The fact that she also had a giant hole left in her foot grossed me out, but I cleaned it and put some Neosporin on it with a bandaid to see if it would heal itself up in a few days.
