Long Train of Geese

Occurred on June 29, 2022 / Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Info from Licensor: I shot video at Hawrelak Park, Edmonton, Alberta. I go there often to see the birds and take photos. That afternoon I was there with my son and our dog, but brought no camera. At the water's edge, I noticed some adult Canada Geese rounding up their goslings. It was 4pm ( 16:00Hrs) June 29, and I guess they wanted to get them into shore for a feeding. As one groups started to move to the northern shore, other families of geese followed creating a long string of adults and goslings. A rare site indeed. I pulled out my phone and started filming as the move across the pond. More families joined the train of geese. Eventually the whole train came up on the northern shore for a feed on the grassy slope.
