Where I was the river was rising and I went further where the water was calmer and I saw the turtle that I knew had died 4 days ago. I had seen this turtle two more times, but I knew it was dead. This time I realized she was alive, as she had moved her position. After I rescued and released him, the water covered the place where he was. If I had gone 20 minutes later, the water would have covered it. When I saw that he was alive, I was very sorry because he could have gone days without feeding, and I immediately rescued him. I filmed it so I could remember it.
