Info from Licensor: "Texas Fawn and Friends is a nonprofit charity that rehabs injured, orphaned and sick wildlife. We specialize in whitetail fawns.
I was contacted by a lady who had found what she thought was a dead baby raccoon. He was laying in a puddle of water. When she reached down to pick him up, he moved. It scared her and she called me. 'Jasper' was about two to three weeks or so, when she brought him to me. He had pneumonia and was very sick. After a few days of meds and TLC he pulled through. Fawn season started soon after that and 'Hope' was one fawn that had been found by a lady, she found her and had been taking care of her for a few weeks but knew she couldn't keep her so she contacted me. Hope was imprinted and when it came time to be released, she stayed around the house. She became tolerant of Jasper as he just adored her and loved jumping on her and playing around with her. As time went on the friendship grew and she continued to tolerate him."
