Info from Licensor: "I am Ömer Uyar, a molecular biologist from Amsterdam, and I have created worms that can eat plastic at an unprecedented rate. I worked in researching and cataloging the many plastic degrading bacteria that can be found in some insect guts and integrated all of these into one insect, the morioworm. This insect already contains 1 strain of plastic degrading bacteria that allows it to slowly consume plastic when forced. I have added 7 strains in total that turn these worms into incredibly fast plastic-eating creatures. The video shows the consumption result of 3 days."
