Info from Licensor: "I'm a CNA and noticed a patient's hand was swelling and turning purple. She was wearing her deceased husband's wedding band and her finger was swollen and could not get it off. I tried to remove the ring myself with soap and water, lubricant, and ice but nothing worked. I informed a nurse and she said she could remove it with a tourniquet. I was intrigued so I went with her and recorded the ring removal. It was a success and the patient kept her finger and didn't have to cut the ring off which was sentimental to her."
