Info from Licensor: "Kanku is a former orphaned kangaroo joey, who was hand raised and released on the property, which was destroyed in the Black Summer Bushfires of 19/20. He is one of 26 kangaroos who survived the inferno. Kanku is also the star in Episode One of The Bond, a 4-part series released in June 2022 on Discovery in the US/UK and Animal Planet in Australia. Many male kangaroos move to greener pastures post-release and as they get older, but Kanku never did. He's been living at the Wild2Free Kangaroo Sanctuary since 2016. He is the Alpha Male of the orphaned kangaroos and loves to show off how tough he is, especially when there are other large males around. On the ground, you can see where he has urinated. He does that almost every night to mark his territory and woe-betide any other kangaroo who dares think about trying out HIS punching bag!"
