Info from Licensor: "I put paint stripper on my parents oak table and let it sit for about a half hour. I then used a scraper to scrape off the old chalk paint to reveal a beautiful oak wood grain that was underneath. The plan is to refinish the whole table eventually. The black paint didn't soak into the wood grain because the poly finish wasn't sanded before apply the chalk paint, which is why it stripped so well."
