Info from Licensor: "On September 14, a Delta flight from Boston to Rome was overbooked by 13 seats. Delta gave away monetary compensation as well as free hotel rooms and food to 13 passengers who were willing to give up their seats. Monetary offers started at about $2000 and gradually increased. 12 passengers accepted offers between $2,000-$3,000 and one passenger accepted an offer for $4,000."
