Info from Licensor: "Our family dog of 13 years passed away a few years ago. Since then, our children (ages 10 and 8), have been begging for a puppy but we have told them that we weren't ready, etc. They were not expecting to open a puppy on Christmas morning and you can see their reaction! My parents kept the puppy for a week before delivering him to us on Christmas morning to keep it a true surprise."
