Occurred on November 11, 2024 / Gatlinburg, Tennessee USA
Info from Licensor: "When we came back to our hotel in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, we got to the 2nd floor where we were staying and looked over and down at the parking lot and there the bear came out from the creek behind our hotel and politely came walking over and pulling on car doors to open, and while he had no luck with that, he came over where these people pulled in and proceeded to get their stuff out of their car. The bear approached them and began sniffing around the lady who somehow managed to stay calm. We were just freaking out and advising them to be still because I didn't know what I was about to video. She talked to the bear without seemingly any fear of him and he kept on till he decided to grab one of her bags and pulled to no avail, but he followed her as she went toward her hotel room still hoping to get a sweet treat. She made it into her room, and the bear turned around and went back into the parking lot and walked over to another car where a lady was getting out of her car, so we hollered at her, and she got back in her car fast. Then the bear proceeded over to some steps he apparently was very familiar with, climbed to the upper deck, and made his way out and up to the park. Luckily, no one got hurt at all, except maybe for the bear's failed attempt to get an easy treat."
