Info from Licensor: "A fight between two well matched, mature elephant seal bulls at the Piedras Blancas elephant seal rookery in San Simeon. Male elephant seals will start off with a vocal challenge. If neither backs down, they fight! They body slam and bite each other until one backs down. Mature male elephant seals develop thick skin on their chest called a chest shield. Fights can look bloody, but seldom results in serious injury. This fight lasted at least 20 minutes and continued into the water."
