Info from Licensor: "Today, Dec 14th, a gentleman down the road from me that lives on the water called and said there’s a deer out on the ice that’s not moving, he didn’t know what to do. So I took action, slowly making my way out to her (about 200yds on the lake) checking the ice for thickness as I went. It appeared she had been there for quite some time as you could see where she had been laying. The ice was just too slippery and she couldn’t keep her grip. I started by trying to get her to walk on her own but she kept falling. Then I tried decided to try pick her up, she didn’t put up much of a fight. I carried her back to shore where she was having a hard time walking on her own, she kept trying to go back on the ice. I decided to take her back to my house and put her in the back yard where I winter feed the local deer in hopes the other deer will take her in. Currently, she is still recovering, but should make a full recovery. This video was taken in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Chassell, Mi)."
