Info from Licensor: "A skydiver new to wingsuiting had a very close call when he opened his canopy to line twist. As the skydiver falls towards earth, his canopy lines continue to become entangled. The force of the out-of-control canopy whirls him in a nauseating continuous 360º spin.
Adding to the drama, the skydiver accidentally pulled his reserve chute before cutting away the main chute. Luckily, the reserve chute opens properly, and the man was able to successfully release the tangled canopy.
Although he seems calm and collected throughout the incident, the skydiver reported that “I was absolutely terrified. It was the first time I ever had a ‘cut-away’.”
