Hundreds of Mobula Rays Dancing in the Ocean

Occurred on June 16, 2018 / La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico Info from Licensor: "There were hundreds, maybe even thousands of mobula rays, otherwise known as flying rays due the fact they leap high out of the water or devil fish because their devilish appearance. They are closely related to manta rays and were gathered in this large school. During spring and summer months, they can be seen in the area, but to find and be able to swim with a group this size is very rare. Normally, as very shy animals, they would quickly swim away and the interaction would be mere seconds. They didn't seem threatened by my relaxed presence. They come here seasonally to feed and mate."
