Kayaker and Juvenile Great White Shark

Occurred on June 28, 2018 / Aptos, California, USA Info from Licensor: "I am a captain and marine biologist on the Monterey Bay. I have been studying this population of juvenile great whites since they started showing up four years ago. Great white shark research via kayak is ideal because the sharks are not afraid of a small, nearly silent vessel. You can also use the kayak as a scale to estimate the size, weight and age of the individuals. These sharks have been hot in the news lately."
